For more than 30 years Hindmarsh has been committed to corporate responsibility (CR) and, in particular, supporting the local communities where we work. Positive engagement with the community is central to who we are and how we operate.
Our culture of professional entrepreneurship means we approach CR from a slightly different perspective. We don’t wait to see what will become accepted best practice. Instead, we like to engage and form strong partnerships to do things differently and innovatively, harnessing our shared aspirations and on-the-ground knowledge.
We have an established community program - Hearts@work which offers staff payroll giving and paid community service leave to take part in an array of charitable initiatives. We have adopted a multi-faceted approach to support the charities we build relationships with, which includes:
- Workplace Giving
- Donations and fundraising
- Volunteering
- In-kind support
Our principal objective in undertaking these initiatives is to capture the skills and enthusiasm of our people to bring significant and sustainable benefits to communities. By taking part we also grow as individuals. We see CR not only as good business but as an integral part of what makes us a leading property and construction company. |
