FCIC is a four storey building surrounding a central breathing glass atrium which will provide a peaceful light environment as a meeting place for all who work and visit the centre. The ground floor will provide a wide range of public facilities including a lecture theatre, seminar rooms, a health spa practicing therapeutic techniques, a scared space for meditation, yoga classes and an area dedicated to population screening.

Upper floors will incorporate biomedical research, patient care research and clinical research linked by air bridges to the researchers in the southern wing to liaise directly with clinicians and patient services.
