65-67 Constitution Ave, Campbell

Hindmarsh developed the existing office building on the site in the early 1980s which is now being demolished to allow the redevelopment of a larger building. This will herald an entirely new age for the eastern end of Constitution Avenue.

The new building is designed to achieve 5 star energy efficiency requirements under the Green Star and NABERS standards.

The building has been assessed in consultation with all stakeholders for redevelopment under the National Capital Authority’s (NCA) Griffin Legacy initiative that is incorporated in the NCA’s Amendment 60 to the National Capital Plan.

Hindmarsh also has a major interest in the neighbouring building at 71 Constitution Avenue which is slated to be redeveloped in due course.

The site adjacent at 81 Constitution Avenue has been the National Headquarters of the Returned & Services League of Australia since the late 1940's. It is also in the pipeline for redevelopment by 2011 with the RSL continuing their occupancy of a significant portion of the new building on completion.
