John Hindmarsh

Executive Chairman

John graduated from The University of NSW with an Honours Degree in Building. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building and holds an A Class Building Licence in the ACT. John has over 40 years experience at all levels of management in property, construction and investment in Australia and overseas. He is Executive Chairman of Hindmarsh, an organisation he established in 1979.

Rowan Hindmarsh

CEO – Construction & Development

As Chief Executive Officer, Rowan is responsible for all of Hindmarsh’s business activities including construction, property development and capital. Previously Rowan supervised the capital, parking and China operations of Hindmarsh. He has extensive experience in capital market transactions involving sourcing equity and debt funding. Prior to joining Hindmarsh, Rowan spent 6 years working at Accenture with clients such as AMP and UBS, both in Australia and in the United Kingdom. Rowan holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Science from the Australian National University.

Fiona Hindmarsh

Non-Executive Director

Fiona brings together 25 years in investment banking and corporate advisory with specialised experience in wealth management for high net worth private families. She has held senior executive roles including Head of Client Engagement and Head of Strategic Business and Product Development at the Myer Family Company (Australia’s preeminent multi-family office); Chief Operating Officer at ANZ Investment Bank; and Global Structured Finance Director at ANZ Investment Bank. Fiona has led private debt and equity raisings and M&A transactions across industries (including mining, utilities, renewables, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications). Her extensive experience in strategic leadership, commercial acumen and risk and governance brings a unique and valuable skill set to the family and corporate boards she works with. In addition to Hindmarsh, Fiona sits on the Australian Institute of Art Historians, Gertrude Contemporary Gallery and the Finance Committee for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Stewart Hindmarsh

CEO – Retirement

Stewart has 20 years experience in senior management across the finance and insurance industries. Most recently he spent seven years as Chief Executive of World Nomads Group, a leading global provider of travel insurance which was sold to nib Health in mid 2015. Before joining World Nomads Group, Stewart was a Director of Grant Samuel, a boutique corporate advisory group. During his time at Grant Samuel, Stewart advised on a wide range of corporate advisory transactions across a broad range of industries including the building, food and beverage and travel industries. Stewart is a Non Executive Director of Odyssey House, a charity that helps individuals overcome alcohol and drug addictions to live fulfilling lives.
