Construction of The Creswell Residences commences

ACT Chief Minister, Katy Gallagher MLA turned the first sod to mark the start of Hindmarsh’s newest prestige mixed-use development, The Creswell Residences in Campbell, on Thursday January 30.

Located on the corner of Creswell Street and Constitution Avenue in Campbell, The Creswell Residences will encompass a selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments as well as commercial space, including a ground floor cafe.

Moments from Lake Burley Griffin, The Creswell Residences is a 10 minute walk to local shops and other amenities, while Canberra CBD is a short stroll away.

The project is being developed by Hindmarsh Development and built by Hindmarsh Construction, another example of the company’s integrated model which has delivered high quality projects in Canberra for more than 30 years.

Designed by Antoniades Architects, The Creswell Residences will feature a simple, modern and distinctive design with a strong contextual reference reflecting its prominent corner position. A curtain of glass will create a transparent exterior veil while the base has been designed to achieve strong activation with the street. Communal and private alfresco space provides residents with a relaxed outdoor environment.

Completion of The Creswell Residences is scheduled for mid 2015 and the development is already 85% sold off the plan. Only eight apartments remain with prices starting from $385,000. Independent Property Group is marketing the project.
