Hindmarsh releases The ACT’s first-ever full-size replica display apartment

Giving new and true meaning to the term ‘try before you buy’, the fully interconnected off-site replica is based on one of the 75 square metre luxuriously appointed apartments at Idalia – a name that means ‘behold the sun’ in ancient Greek mythology.
Hindmarsh’s ACT State Manager for Development Brett Smith said the architect-designed Idalia apartments were so well appointed that a full replica display suite was the only way to do them justice.
“We are very pleased with the design and quality of these living spaces and we wanted to share an example with our customers so that they can fully sample every aspect of their new home or investment,” Mr Smith said.
“Being able to experience the apartment before buying off plan is a new opportunity for our customers and will help them imagine creating their own home in the space.”
Comprised of 105 luxuriously appointed apartments set over three levels, Idalia will offer an exciting array of one and two-bedroom configurations priced from $299,900 to $344,900 for the one-bedders and $389,900 to $449,900 for the two-bedroom options.
Each cutting-edge apartment will prove you don’t have to scrimp on luxury to live sustainably, with features such as thermally efficient floor-to-ceiling double glazing and energy efficient fixtures and lighting.
As superb as the apartments are their location, right in the heart of Canberra, offering a lifestyle of convenience and an atmosphere of village life in a vibrant and high-quality landscaped estate.
“Woden Green represents a new dimension in urban living in one of the most desirable town centre addresses in Canberra,” Mr Smith said.
“Its proximity to the Canberra CBD, parks and public transport, as well as access to a range of retail and recreational amenities and links to key commercial and government centres, make this residential development perfectly situated to take advantage not only of the present desirability of the area but also a place that is destined for dynamic growth.”
Idalia marks the third major stage for the Woden Green Estate. The ACT Government is currently engaged with the community in a review of the masterplan for the Woden Town Centre.  Hindmarsh will consider plans for remaining stages once the outcome of this process is known.
