Hindmarsh recognised at 2014 MBA SA Building Excellence Awards

The 2014 MBA Building Excellences Awards were held in Adelaide on Friday night. Hindmarsh was recognised for its work on the South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) & the UniSA Jeffrey Smart Building. Hindmarsh collected awards in the following categories:

  • South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) - Excellence in a Commerical / Industrial Building over $100m - Landmark project

    The judges remarked, "Whilst this is an award of excellence for building construction, Hindmarsh can be proud of being a positive contributor to an extremely successful iconic building."

 

  • The Jeffrey Smart Building (UniSA Learning Centre) - Excellence in a Commercial / Industrial Building ($50m-100m) *joint winner with Hansen Yunken in the category

    The judges noted, "Completed under budget and with excellent client relations, this building also excelled in the successful implementation of a diverse range of exacting finishes."


MBA SA chief executive John Stokes said the awards recognised projects ranging in value from less than $180,000 to more than $20 million.

“The calibre of this year’s winners shows they are delivering world-class standards at every level,” he said.
