Dutch Life Science and Health trade delegation Visit Bellerive Retirement Village

This week the Life Science and Health trade delegation from The Netherlands kicked off their Australian tour at Bellerive Retirement Village, ACT.

The trade delegation is traveling alongside the Dutch King and Queen who are visiting Australia and New Zealand as part of the celebrations surrounding the 400th anniversary of the arrival of Dirk den Hartog, the first European, to Australia.

Members of the delegation were interested in hearing about seniors housing and what Retirement Villages, like Bellerive, can offer to assist with the challenges of the increasing demand for residential housing and an ageing population.

Erik Boddeus, Hindmarsh National Retirement Manager gave a presentation (in Dutch) and escorted the group around the village. The delegation was very impressed with the quality of the facilities and apartments.
