Kenmore Community Church

Forced to relocate from long-term premises on Moggill Road, Brisbane, to allow for the widening of this major commuter arterial to the expanding western corridor, the congregation was able to use funds provided by the Queensland Government to commission the building of a stunning and environmentally sustainable facility.

The building is Green Star rated for its many environmentally sound features. The clever thermosiphon cooling system recycles cool air from beneath the building through extensive floor vents running the length of the church. 10,000 litre rainwater tanks and on-site grey water treatment and reuse offer exemplary water management practices.
