Martin Towers

During the late 1960s the building was originally designed as a hotel development with an above ground car park occupying the six lower levels. The car park was constructed at that time, but the hotel was never built.

Constructed in the air space over the existing operational 1,400 bay multi deck carpark, the subsequent Martin Towers development was completed in 2006 and comprises 117 luxury apartments in two towers (5 levels and 7 levels). Resident facilities include a gym, lap pool, spa and sauna.

The construction proved to be a challenge due to access and site conditions, the development being the first to be granted "air rights" in South Australia for a major development.
